DESTINATION WEDDING IN AN ELEGANT VILLA IN MONTEPULCIANO, TUSCANY
This is the story of Jale and Dejan, a german couple who decided to tie the knot in Italy and celebrate their love with friends and family in an elegant liberty-style Villa in the beautiful town of Montepulciano.
***HOW I MET THEM***
“Ciao, do you speak English?”- that’s when everything started! This lovely couple contacted me through a wedding portal and everything went just smooth from the very beginning! They were struggling with taking care of the whole planning process from abroad and finding a local person who could assist them with their 3-day event (civil wedding in the Town Hall, rehearsal dinner and the day-of). For this they have booked the full planning package.
We first met for our time-of-planning in a bar at Lucignano 2 months prior the wedding and it was like having known each other for a long time! Planning the wedding with Jale and Dejan couldn’t have been much easier!
***THE PRE-WEDDING PREOCCUPATIONS AND PROBLEMS***
One week before the wedding, the weather forecast was not really predicting a smooth week and we were really worried because J. and D. have always dreamt an outdoor dinner and party and till the end we were hoping for the sun to come. We indeed have our plan B ready which of course was equally beautiful as the original plan.
At last the day of the wedding was perfectly sunny and they all enjoyed the outdoor breeze and the romantic starry sky!
***THE THREE DAY EVENT***
September 5th 2019 – civil ceremony at San Quirico d’Orcia with close family and friends. It has been an honor for me to really be part of it as the official wedding interpreter! Seeing 2 souls being united, was such a wonderful experience! Lunch at a trattoria and wine tasting in a winery.
September 6th 2019 – arrival of the other guests and rehearsal dinner in a restaurant in Montepulciano, named Caffè Poliziano. Menu: Pasta party! Who doesn’t love home-made pasta?
September 7th 2019 – religious ceremony at San Biagio church in Montepulciano with family and friends! Luncheon and party at Villa Bossona till the dawn!
